My Loves!  I have the honor of marrying my best friend and soulmate in exactly 2 months from today!  If you have been with me for the last few years, you know about my journey through new motherhood and into single motherhood, all while developing my newest business, Mothersun an the Captain.   My most recent venture has been settling in to the new woman I became through single motherhood, truly becoming the best version of myself, and then experiencing this beautiful miracle unfold with my Captain. 

Happiness starts within us, when we love ourselves with our whole soul, the miracles happen.  It will never happen outside of us or through someone else.  We are the only ones who can manifest the destiny we desire.  After losing all of my self love and confidence through past experiences, I took a few years to learn to love myself again and remembered what a true badass woman I had always been. What I learned was that when you are a strong female, there are men out there who either cherish your strength and raise you higher, or there are men who feel inferior and want to strip the strength from you.  My Captain is the type of man who thinks my strength is sexy as shit and does everything in his power to continue to grow my fire and my abilities to do good in this world.

One of my closest friends here in Santa Barbara, Shannon Jayne Miller, gifted us this engagement shoot earlier this year and I thought I would finally share them with you! Thank you Loves for being with me on this beautiful journey we call LIFE.
